Tips on Overcoming Exam-Related Stress!

Many students feel stressed about taking exams. Indeed, it's challenging for students, especially those who easily get anxious. However, did you know that anxiety on the test day does not cause bad exam results? What actually hurt students were high levels of anxiety during the weeks before the exam took place. The anxiety while studying hampers knowledge-gain. Knowing this can help students to know how to overcome this problem! The researchers from the Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education recommended two techniques:

  1. When you feel stressed, you can raise your belief in your abilities by reminding yourself how much you already know.

  2. You can also diminish the test's significance by reminding yourself that the exam is not a life-or-death situation.
