AMC 8 Exam Description:
The AMC 8 gives middle school students an opportunity to develop positive attitudes toward analytical thinking and mathematics that can support future careers. Students apply classroom skills to unique problem-solving challenges in a low-stress and friendly environment. The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute, multiple-choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote problem-solving skills. The AMC 8 covers topics from a typical middle school mathematics curriculum.
AMC 10/12 Exam Description:
One of the first exams in the series used to challenge bright students in grades 10/12 and below on the path toward choosing the team that represents the United States at the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO). Students outside the US are also welcome to participate, although they are not eligible to win a spot on the American team for the IMO. The test is a 25-question, 75-minute multiple-choice test. Problems generally increase in difficulty as the exam progresses. Calculators are not permitted for use. Students are free to sign up for either the A or B session, or both.

Individual results are shared through email. If you are qualified for AIME, you will receive an email. To participate, please register through your AoPS portal.
